Apartment Review for Columns Of Castleton - Indianapolis, IN

This is a very nice, well-maintained, quiet and safe community but that does come at a high price. Everyone who works in Mgmt. including the maintenance men will invade your privacy. Maintenance will show up unexpectedly to make repairs you did not request nor were notified about. I've had the management make comments implying that I don't watch my daughter properly (and I absolutely do). If your plates have become expired on your vehicles, the management will have them towed immediately regardless if they are being driven or not. I can't tell you how many times I’ve called maintenance out to fix a problem and they tell me there is nothing wrong with it. Seems like a cop-out to me. The maintenance team seems quite lazy really. Also, when you move out, clean your carpets. If your carpet is at all stained, they will charge you an absolutely outrageous price for carpet replacement which is of course due within 30 days or it will be forwarded on to their attorneys. I would hate to see how they treat someone who actually does damage the apartment. Overall, I love my home and the Apartment Community itself. But the Management sure does make it feel uncomfortable and less like home. I don't mind strict management and following the rules, but it'd be nice if they'd show a little more respect to residence like me who pay well and don't cause trouble.
