Apartment Review for Deercross Apartments - Indianapolis, IN

Maintenance was awful! The people they contract to do there work are unprofessional, and inconsiderate. When I first moved in some guys Deer Cross contracted to fix my neighbors balcony were playing loud music, drinking alcohol and harassing every girl that walked by. I didn't want to leave the building because they were so disgusting! Every thing in my apartment seem to fall apart. I had to have the hot water heater replaced, refrigerator replaced, back door fixed 2ce, front door fixed, kitchen door fixed 4 times, the windows need to be replace and there are cracks all over the walls and ceilings, the community washer and dryer needs to be replaced and to top it off our neighbors are so loud! I tried for a long time to get someone out to fix my bathroom, the paint on the shower was peeling off and the paint on the ceiling was falling off as well. I was told a few times by the NEW property manger that he would have his "good friend" come out and fixed the bad paint job, and he would give us a 2-3 day notice before he came and did it. That would us time to make plans to show else where and remove all of our things from the bathroom. Weeks went by with no contact from the office manger, I had giving up and was tired of getting the run around. After a long 13hr shift in a hot factory my boyfriend came home to a apartment full of fumes and paint dust. They had came out with out telling us, took all of our bath products , contacts,tooth brushes, my $180 hair straighter, hair brush, wash cloths and threw it into the sink (with out covering it) !!! so everything had to be thrown away (except my straighter) because it was covered in paint, and dust. Our shower curtain was thrown across our bed, there was tape,paint chips, USED RAZOR BLADES, and paper on the floor of the bathroom. The fumes were horrible, we both had headaches, didn't sleep at all and neither of us were able to shower. It was an awful experience.
