Pass on these apartments
Review Date: 3/27/2004 Reviewer: Anonymous
At one time, due to location and apartment design, Fox Club was a nice place to live. But these days upkeep, maintenance, and security are serious problems. The current onsite management is indifferent to resident concerns about appearance and safety. Balconies are in desparate need of repair - rotting wood and peeling paint. Roofs are leaking and roads and sidewalks are crumbling. Snow removal is sporadic at best in winter and lawncare and landscaping in the complex past the office and model apartment is less than attractive. There have been many instances of onsite management trying to charge residents for routine maintenance issues. Often takes weeks for maintenance requests to be filled and then only with shoddy workmanship, resulting in multiple visits. Clubhouse facilities have very limited open hours and the office is frequently closed during stated open hours. Onsite management often seem harried and unprofessional and poorly trained in customer service skills, quick to dismiss concerns or actually blame the residents instead of trying to solve issues. Fox Club has the potential, due to location and apartment design, to be a wonderful place to live. But, unfortunately, the issues aren't likely to improve until Cypress Reality Network desides to put in place skilled, professional onsite management. Unfortunately I can't recommend this community at this time. March 2004 |
