Apartment Review
"Luxury" not so much

Where do I start... lets go back to the beggining. Two days before we were scheduled to move in to this townhome I went to check if everything was okay, they didn't even have any of the original paperwork. This also meant they didn't have an apartment for us. It took another two weeks to get one because the excuse I was given was that so many people had came in to rent they had none left; even though I had already paid for it and put a deposit down. I had to drive around with a leasing consultant to find one suitable. Everyone they showed me smelt of animal urine. Meanwhile I had taken off of work, rented moving services, and arranged for help; due to their mistake I moved with little to no help and was lucky to get moving services, and might I mention before and after work. The townhome is in poor condition and needs major restorations. Tomorrow I have to call maintanence in to fix two things each for the third time. The kitchen sink pipe underneath the cabinets is not even attached to the drain and randomly water pours out of it. The second issue is the master bedroom closet clothes rack has fallen out of the wall for the third time as well and maintanence keeps putting the broken shelving back up even though I tell them it will not stay. The response I get is that the office will not order another one. Each time I call in a maintanence work order it takes a few days to get someone in to do the work, and while making the work order the office staff usually laughs the problem off. I have fixed several things myself that needed work due to this problem. Might I also add that at one point there was a maintanence staff member that was entering my apartment during the day to lounge on my couch and watch t.v., this was reported to the office as well with no action on their part. On the signs posted alongside the road to the office it reads "luxury living" this place should be sued for false advertisement. I wouldn't recommend living here to anyone. There are supposedly million dollar renovations going on, however they have only black topped the roads without filling in holes and painted exteriorly in two years. Not much else is expected. As for neighborhood occupants there are loud partiers and people who let their younger kids play outside at 11p.m. To drive down the street would give you a nervous breakdown, unsupervized children jump directly in front of your car and have no regards for safety, and other drivers speed through like it's the Indy 500. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I can't wait to leave.
