Apartment Review for Lakeside Village Apartments - Indianapolis, IN

Sure, the inside of the apartments are roomy, and the price is good value to boot, but if that's all you care about, I recommend you stay locked inside your apartment for the whole day. Druggies and Gangs loiter the streets in the evening, and they haven't anything to fear since their is no security around nor are there cops anywhere near. The only time I have seen a police car scan the area is once a year - Halloween. So I wouldn't recommend a lovely evening stroll outside. If you are noticed, you will be harassed, or even jumped.

Aside from the security problems, the maintenence isn't exactly worthy of a five star award either. Make sure you make a call a week in advance, so the handy men can fit it into their "schedule." Then, once they fix it, expect to make another call in about a month when your toilet or other appliance breaks down again.

Overall, I would recommend that if you decide to look at renting an apartment here, just slowly turn you body the opposite way and walk back to your car and drive far, far away.
