Apartment Review for Latitude Apartments - Indianapolis, IN

I cannot recommend this apartment community to anyone. Unfortunately the short (6 months) time I lived there, my air conditioning never worked properly. I had to call maintenance no less than 12 times to come out and fix it. Several times there was no response whatsoever. The leasing staff, including the manager, was completely unresponsive to the problems with my apartment. In order to finally “fix” the problem with the air conditioner after recharging it about 5 times, they decided to run a new line-set for the coolant to run through from the outside unit to the condensing unit inside. In order to do that they had a contractor cut 5 large holes in my ceiling. The contractor never covered a thing in my apartment and never shut off the furnace fan. So everything in my apartment was covered with a layer of drywall dust. It was everywhere... in my computer keyboard, in my stereo, on my kitchen counter, etc. They attempted to clean it, but to no avail. In addition to the air conditioner not working, the front wall to my first floor apartment leaked and my bedroom took on a significant amount of water. Not just one time, but twice. The response from maintenance was nothing until the third call. I had to tear up the carpet and put fans in the room myself in order to dry it out. My neighbors had been having water troubles as well for over three months before I moved in. So it had definitely been a problem that was not remedied. This place is a joke and my assumption is that all the Edward Rose Apartments are the same, because I have received no apology from the corporate headquarters, nor have I received any sort of compensation for my time and trouble.
