Apartment Review for Rosedale Hills Apartments - Indianapolis, IN

Safety: It's not safe. Not at all. It's not that there's hardened criminals running around here, but there's plenty of young kids who think they are, make sure to lock up your cars and wait by the door if you order any packages (I've had two packages stolen from right in front of my door in the past month, totaling 120 dollars in loss. Also the mailman's fault because he's supposed to leave packages at the office, but he shouldn't have to.) Parking: It's actually pretty good. It seems that not a lot people that live here own cars, so there's always somewhere to park. There's even carports available for an added fee. Appearance: Outside they look alright, I guess, standard fare for red-brick apartments. Inside they look pretty plain, white walls, tan carpets, white doors and cabinets. Office Staff: I've only ever seen two people in the "office" but I guess that's enough. The manager is pretty rude but I guess she's got a lot of stress dealing with all the kids around here. Maintenance: If you can get a hold of him, the maintenance guy is pretty friendly and knowledgeable. Condition: The only real flaw of the apartments themselves is that they are old. These units were built in the 50s at the latest, and while the amenities last for a while, it gets annoying not having an electrical outlet in the bathroom, or working lights in the kitchen. Noise Level: Have fun not sleeping. Overall: Avoid these. The floorplans are spacious, but the community is horrible.
