Apartment Review for Shadeland Station Apartments - Indianapolis, IN

This is the most disgusting apartment I have ever seen! You are better off sleeping on the street, in your car OR EVEN IN A HOMELESS SHELTER!!! I have never seen such a poorly maintained apartment complex. ALL complaints are immediately dismissed by incompetent, saccharin, moronic office staff and you are treated like second class citizen while making a complaint. The parking lot is nothing but potholes, none of the exterior lights work properly (either very dim or do not work at all), the lobby doors are BROKEN BEYOND REPAIR, the mailboxes NEVER LOCKED, the light fixtures in the lobby were filled at least an INCH DEEP WITH DEAD BUGS, there are HUGE STAINS/MOLD on the lobby carpet, the stairs to second floor ARE FALLING APART, HUGE STAINS/MOLD on the ceiling in the lobby. The apartment interior is even more nightmarish: the front of the microwave fell every time the people in the second floor apartment walked around, I finally had to put it away in a cabinet BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD FIX IT!!! Three interior doors DO NOT CLOSE PROPERLY, they appear to have bashed in, or more likely kicked in, repaired and painted. The master bathroom shower appears to have NEVER BEEN PROPERLY CLEANED; it is so badly stained and full of mold we NEVER USED IT BECAUSE WERE SCARED!!! Those complaints only scratch the surface of things that are wrong with that SLUM! They charged us almost $900 a month to live here. OUTRAGEOUS! But, we were moving from across the country and could not actually see this place until we arrived in Indianapolis. I never would have moved into this living hell if I had the chance to see it before giving them a deposit. I tried to contact the "regional manager" Donna Shane (dshane@tgmassociates.com 941.3780.923) but my call was NEVER returned by her. It was however intercepted by a woman named "Seal" 914.378.0774, she refused to tell me her last name, she refused to connect me to Donna Shane and she is an all-around DISMISSIVE and HORRIBLE PERSON! When I told her that I complained at least twice about the condition of the apartment before I gave up her answer was "so, by your own admission you ONLY complained twice and then gave up?" I ask you, how many times am I supposed to complain before I should expect some sort of action???!!! DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS NIGHTMARE APARTMENT AN OPTION.
