Apartment Review for The Private Reserve, Luxury Towhomes - Indianapolis, IN

How to write a review to reveal the truth of this place without looking partial to hating it... My wife and I rented a 2 bedroom "luxury apt" and moved into our first place with happy newlyweds thoughts of our first place. Since that day, it has been a disaster. The apartment itself is very nice. It looks nice and the apt sells itself. Then you move in. The furnace is really loud. The black toilets and bathtub look great but get dirty fast and are hard to make look shiny like in the beginning. There are drafts throughout the house so i'm not so sure about the solid building foundations. But the apt is not why I rate the place with the lowest score. Its the community. The "Family friendly gated community for the professional" is a complete false statement, at least for us. The gate has worked for maybe 4-5 days since last May. No joke. My gas has been syphoned 2 times at night. The lights in the place are owned by Indy Power and Lights, which the front office said was their problems and all they could do was call. None of this was fixed. We felt very unsafe. My experience was different because of a neighbor that we called the front desk or police on 13 times since Sept. 13 people. Our nieghbor was still there and nothing but a slap on the hand and a note was sent to him. Very disappointing on our end that nothing was done. We were given choice to move units, but with all the issues we had, we chose to take a huge penatly they gave us to move out early. Please seriously review the place before signing a contract. The contract itself is impossible to break. It has detailed wording covering the gate, theft, lights, and loud nieghbors. I rate the truth. Good luck
