Apartment Review for Wyckford Commons - Indianapolis, IN

I have lived here (unfortunately) for the last 8 months, just waiting for the day my lease is up so I can move far, far away from here. The maintenance is terrible, the office staff is completely clueless, and the property has just been deteriorating before my eyes. I was so enamored with the website when I first started searching for a new place but after I came to visit and signed the lease, I wished I had never stepped foot here. Sure, the pictures online made it seem so awesome and the staff was so eager to accommodate all my requests after you sign the application form and pay the deposit they will tell you we will never deposit this and we will return this deposit if you find better apartment then us, but they never give you back they will deposit right after you. But once the ink was dry on the lease, it was a completely different story. One great thing is if you never seen a bed bug in your life you have a chance to see hell lot of Bed Bugs” I spent all summer without a functioning AC and no explanation as to why it didn't work. I've put in numerous maintenance requests that get lost in the wind. I have spent most of the winter with no functioning heater. There was always some reason why the residents are not the priority to the staff or Management Company (Manager Amy is so arrogant and she will never give proper response) . Look out when it rains, it seems the foundation is slipping and the stairs get uneven. Residents leave garbage all over the place, as well as leave dog droppings anywhere they want. No Gates so anyone can walk or drive in. You can hear people stomping in the walkways at all hours of the night. There was a game system that was stolen from the clubhouse even though there are security cameras. I would not recommend this place to anyone and hope that anyone considering this place looks elsewhere.
